
3D: The 3D in the movie focuses more on the characters than the environment, which is a bit of a shame— playing Minecraft in Stereoscopic 3D is visually captivating. Still, that doesn’t mean the 3D here is bad. Since the film also prioritizes character-driven storytelling over showcasing the blocky landscapes, most shots are close-ups with solid depth. As the movie progresses, the sense of depth grows, along with an increase in objects flying toward the audience, making it a fun and engaging experience to watch in 3D.
