Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
3D: Right from the beginning there are plenty scenes popping outside the screen, with gorgeous depth. All action scenes bring an impressive depth. At sometimes 3D looks so real that you think what you see is happening at the theater room, like people crossing in front of the camera, or some static objects at foreground. Must see in 3D.
4DX: This is a very aggressive experience, but people enjoyed it a lot. Chairs move a lot constantly during the action scenes even in moments not so epic, but it helps to transmit that who is moving is a giant creature. Water and trail effects are perfect and improve 3D images a lot, sometimes you can’t discern which particles of water or mist are part of the screen and which are real. You feel the forcefulness of a roaring or a water splash. The only effect that didn’t work was the snow effects, too noisy and barely noticeable, the noise is not worth the added “immersion”. In brief, this is a hardcore experience.
